Simple enough to use for someone like me who does minimal coding, while it is versatile in set-up and customisation. It is very helpful it blocks for the Gutenberg block editor and integrates seemlessly into the Generatepress theme I use without having to use and understand shortcodes and code snippets. I tried Stars Rating plug-in before but there I could get the look and feel I wanted, which was quite straightforward to achieve with Site Reviews.

I was surprised at how challenging it was to get a good-looking review plug-in that was for my own website users and did not depend on a third party like Google reviews, Tripadvisor reviews and all the others. I have a small independent business, and I used to sell over an international site that had its own programmers and a great rating app, visually and for users. I went independent, and on my own site, I tried to find a plug-in that is easy for my customers to use and looks good but I am not tied toonlyGoogle reviews, Tripadvisor, and so on – I am a tour guide – and can let customers who book over my site leave their own reviews there as well. This plug-in seems to be all of that. I am a layman with webbuilding, but I am building my own sites, and this is just what I was looking for.

To top that off, I am not experienced in web design, so when my plug-in wasn’t working I got in touch with support. The problem was I simply did not have the correct recaptcha key, and I missed this. Support was great, and the problem was found and solved. But the problem was akin to not plugging something in and then calling support as to why it did not work. I could have been laughed at, but not the only way I was NOT laughed at, he helped me with some other things he saw were not set up best, just cause he was there. Great support.

As far as I can see, the basic plug in is good, but I got the premium and would get it again. Many very useful options.

I tried so many other review plugins and they were either a) way over-engineered for developers, or b) way too simplistic with limited functionality. This one hits right in the middle. It takes a little bit of playing around to get comfortable, but it’s extremely powerful and flexible. Get the paid version if you want even more flexibility in terms of the look and feel of everything. It’s turbo-blasted my film review website. And just as excellent is the support. The response to my requests has been world-class, at times even immediate. Very impressive, and highly recommended.

I’ve been playing with and setting up this plugin and it seems to be everything I need it to be, and I’ve asked it to do a lot. I’m happy, and just decided to upgrade to the paid version so my reviewers could upload pictures.

I’ve been accumulating reviews for years but never really knew how to make the most out of this valuable feedback.

With this plugins lightweight yet powerful categorizing features I’m now able to display the best reviews on the right specific funnel landing pages for each of my products. This will add immense social proof while also giving my existing customers the spotlight they deserve for taking the time to leave a review.

With its clever use of pagination of the long list of reviews it’s loading my product pages very fast. The break down of ratings percentages in the summary shortcode a la Amazon is also very aesthetically appealing. Well coded and supported by the developer, I can’t wait to try some of the future addons I can see the potential for with this plugin.

All I can say about Site Reviews are nice words. As soon as your start to navigate through it you see it is a really well coded plugin. Also it seems to be intended for unexperienced but expert wordpress users too. A lot of features and and active support that attends to consultations frequently.

Flexible plugin with many well-documented functions. Bonus points for providing star rating and an approval workflow in the free version. The only thing I was missing was a random review block but I found code by the author in the forum that I could add to my theme’s functions.php that implements a shortcode. The plugin is really easy to use and to understand and there are even in the free version a lot of things you can change, modify and adapt.If you need more modifying, you can buy pro versions for a reasonable price.

What as well is very good, is the support! Even if my problem turned out as not plugin-related, but theme-related, the developer gave me a code, which solved my problem so that I can use this plugin on my customer sites perfectly.
