Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the developer. The customisation options are terrific, the documented support is incredibly helpful (and well written) and if you get stuck in any way, the customer support is fantastic. I did purchase the pro package and it’s worth every cent. If you are looking for a way to capture and display reviews on your site to help you sell more, you’d be crazy not to get this plugin!

I loved working with this plugin so much. So easily customizable. Even when editing the source code to a little bit more customizability, it was like I was the one who wrote the code because everything was so organized and proper. Had to create a WordPress account just to drop this review. Loved working with it so much !

This is the best reviews plugin I could find.It allows customisation to suit my requirements and is really well though out in general. Support it amazing.

Honestly, I went through all the plugins that deal with review and did not find one that compares to this site-review plugin.While others give additional features that are not really necessary, site review does the job in a simple and reliable way.I wanted to create a page where all the reviews would be concentrated and arranged in descending order, but I had no idea where to start. So I just turned to support, and he sent me a code and also explained to me how to install it. Even when the code did not work, it did not give up until I was able to activate the requested page.Although this is the best plugin of its kind, it is free. Stunning!

This is by far the most underrated reviews plugin. The ability to customize what is reviewable is amazing, their documentation is fabulous, and their shortcodes are not just self-explanatory but also well-documented in case there’s any confusion.

I use it for custom post types for my users to review other users’ content. I’ve been able to hook into it easily to send notifications to my users and also to help sort those custom post types by average review. Other review plugins seem bloated with unnecessary functionality (but missing the basics) or just…missing the basics, but Site Review is streamlined, slick, and has all the basics plus the ability to expand on them if you want.

I’ve integrated it into the Buddypress framework to show up on my users’ individual profiles and in the newsfeed and by far it was one of the easier plugins to work with in doing so.

Thank you so much for putting together such a marvelous plugin. More people need to be using this than other *ahem* well-known rating plugins that aren’t nearly as easy or thorough.

Edit: Popping in 5 days later to note that I had an issue (of my own making) with Site Reviews, and their support is just fantastic. They gave me a very detailed breakdown of what might have caused the issue and pointed me in the right direction to making improvements to how I was utilizing the plugin. Really, seriously, cannot recommend this plugin enough. Their support is just as good as their product.

This plugin is exactly what our website needed. And I love that it can be captured in google. Really adds credibility. The company is always updating so it’s really nice that you can count on them improving things as they go (rather than just sit in bad code). I had a difficult time understanding how to make my form show up on the frontend of website. I searched for answered but couldn’t quite find what I was looking for, so I reached out to the company. They got back to me within the same day! And their instructions were very clear and they even took the time to take and markup pictures. I’ve reached out several more times and their customer service and promptness remained the same! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I had some questions about the plugin, and the creator wrote back thoughtful clear answers. That says a lot; I NEVER pay for a plugin if I can’t get good support for the free version and set it up so that it works. The support and ease of use are deciding factors, along with functionality. So, others failed those tests, and I decided to give this a try. I set it up with minimal confusion. Looks great. Works great. And I’ll be quick to recommend Site Reviews, by Nifty Plugins, to anyone who needs this type of plugin on their website.

I’ve been rebuilding almost all plugins on my website because there’s always something wrong with them that makes my site unnecessarily slow or adds a lot of crap to the DOM or even worse creates huge problems after installing updates.

But this is one of the few plugins that I’m still using since I installed it 4 years ago, the code is very stable, it does what it promises and it does it perfectly.There are many hooks that you can use to customize it and to create automatic actions (like in my case adding fidelity points to customers that leave a review)

The support/developer(s) is awesome, I spotted some slightly inefficient code, reported it, they fixed it the same day and by the next day there was already an update available which included that fix.

It will remain my first choice for all my websites wherever I’ll need site reviews!

This was a hidden gem of a review plugin.I’ve tested a number of review plugins for my websites, but I haven’t been happy with either of them. For some reason I had missed this one.

I think it might be because of a lack of demos of your plugin on your website?Either way, I’m happy that I tested it and it is by far the best one I’ve used – So I’ve decided to replace my current plugin (JetReviews) with your plugin. I’ll also purchase your premium plugin.

The reviews looks great, and the plugin is quite compatible with GDPR. I just found that you either need to be a developer or buy an addon in order to be able to save consent.

The support they have provided me in order to include the first information layer has been absolutely good, quick and effective.

Also, I have checked my GTmetrix before and after installing the plugin in my live installation, and the result is the same. I’m very careful with plugins because I don’t want my site to get slow.

No doubt, they deserve five stars!!

Due to the combo of this being a completely spectacular plugin, and the instant, hassle-free, always-on support the Author provides, this is now far and away my favourite plugin, and has restored my faith in the whole plugin ecosystem. If I could give it 6 stars, I’d be doing it.

I find that a lot of plugins don’t really work on WordPress.com hosted sites. This one does. It has great features and both the admin and the user-facing components UI are well thought-out. Also the help section and forum support are both outstanding.

The author is very responsive and helpful. I have tried out a lot of different review plug ins and settled on this one for its functionality, looks, and support. I was searching for a good review plugin and prepared to pay for something with advanced features. After going through dozens of review plugins, I kept coming back to Site Reviews. Not because it’s free, but because it has many features you’ll find in premium plugins, but without the bloat (or cost).

The documentation is great and the plugin is easy to customize (options, styling). As you’ll see from other reviews here, the support is top notch. Plugin is also well maintained. Thank you so much!

We took a look at quite a few plugins that we were interested in using to add reviews to our website and Site Reviews and the features included are incredible. Optional Switches such as Administrative Approval of Reviews before they are published and a Registration Requirement to submit a review along with a link are two important features we were looking for and this plugin has both. We were also able to edit the language of the forms without editing any of the WordPress files directly. That along with great documentation on all of the shortcodes along with fast responsive (and friendly) support make this a great plugin which is highly recommended.

I downloaded the beta V3 and compared it with many of the other prominent rating plugins (kk star, Rich, etc.). This is simply the best. It works very well right away, but if you take the time to play around with it you’ll find out that it is powerful and flexible.

On top of that, support is fantastic — better than I could have expected from a paid plugin and this is totally free. I even received prompt and helpful responses on questions that in retrospect had more to do with general WordPress issues than Site Reviews. That is truly the mark of solid support.

It is not by accident that all the reviews are 5 stars — go ahead and read the only 1-star review and you’ll know that it was written by an inarticulate, incoherent ignoramus, who crashed his own site and blamed a brilliant plugin for his own shortcomings.

This is the only reviews plugin that I have found that provides completely correct schema output for local business reviews. I use it on every site that I make for this reason. And if it couldn’t get any better, when I reached out for support the one time that it wasn’t working for me, I got the best support that I have ever experienced, solving the issue I had originally AND giving me some great advice for my site’s structure moving forward.

This plugin was the exact thing that I needed to review specific posts on my website. I was able to really push the limits of the plugin too, to use it to its full potential, integrating it with another plugin on my website ‘Essential Grids’. I got stuck once or twice, not knowing how to make certain bits work, so I reached out to the support with numerous questions and they got back to me with comprehensive answers each time, fixing each issue one at a time. Love the plugin, and love the service!

I love this plugin! It does everything it promisses. I am looking forward to the release of the TripAdvisor and Yelp addon for my hotel and restaurant customers. After that I’d like to see more addons to sync reviews, for example from Facebook, Google, Booking.com and Expedia. Also an option to add a tickbox for reviewers to subscribe to a MailChimp mailinglist or via a Zapier integration.

Update: with this plugin I managed to get a star rating in the Google search results within 3 weeks for a blog post with just 2 reviews on a brand new website. The site has 20+ reviews now, so now it’s time to add the overall review summary to the footer and see what happens.

I have installed several highly rated plugins but all were filled with unnecessary crap and distractions. Then I installed this one and I totally amazed with the simplicity, usability, feature richness, simplest configuration and excellent UI. Highly recommended!!!

After having problems with a different rating and review plug-in, I thought I’d try this one. This Site Reviews plug-in has been easy to install and configure. I appreciate the ways it can be customized, including reCaptcha, notifications, notification template, require approval, which fields I want to hide, and more. I can’t even remember how many review plugins we tried…a LOT. And they were all awful. This one is perfection! Easy to use, intuitive setup and lots of options for developers to easily integrate and do some more advanced tinkering. Great support form the plugin author, especially considering this is free.
