Terrible delivery, three orders and major issues with every one!

The quality of the product is good. Ordered the product months and months in advance with the advice from in store advisors who also added on 20% for off cuts. First issue was the delivery did not come for 3 days after rescheduling again and again. I had to reorganise work and get people to stay at the property for multiple days unnecessarily. When the delivery did come, it was one pack short despite the advice we were given that it would be ‘more than enough plus extras’. We also tried to order underlay which simply never came, so we had to rush the day of fitting to find a different underlay. When we went to order one pack (all we needed to finish the floor) it was only available 7 months out- thankfully customer services were able to find one pack. However, this pack also has failed to be delivered 3 times now, with me waiting at home for it to show up when I have a full time job. (They only offer delivery) After rescheduling the carpenter about 10 times I feel extremely frustrated with this service. Please avoid if you are unable to reschedule or stay at home for a week or two waiting for the order to come. No phone calls received by delivery services before simply canceling the order. Terrible service and still my floor is not complete. Calling into the specific store was helpful but seemed to be the only way to receive help as online help was unable to interfere due to purchase in store. Three orders total and issues with every one!

Customer service experience

We ordered carpet to be delivered and fitted before Christmas, day booked off to be honest for delivery. We got a call a few days before to tell us the underlay was out of stock, picked a new one and new delivery date booked. Delivery arrived, poor delivery driver was in his own, but was unable to get the carpet into the house and said he may have to take it back to depot. So to make sure this didn’t happen my husband who has a damaged spine helped carry it in! Carpet size to be fitted on the Friday but the carpet fitter was ill and was falling behind with that days jobs in thankfully he promised to come the next day to fit it. He arrives to find the wrong trims had been sent and some were missing. I can’t complain about the staff in the shop or the fitter because he did a fantastic job fitting the carpets. My issue is with the “helpline” who’s answer to my issue was “as a company we don’t compensate for lost earnings” that was the end of that conversation. I have since emailed and had no reply. Because of the delays I have lost 2 days holiday and had to cancel a pre-Christmas trip to visit my family.

Good service

Purchased a carpet, underlay and their fitting service via Stockport store. The sales associate was fantastic, quick and efficient. Checked everything we needed and gave us some good advice on what to buy for the room. Price of the carpet and underlay was good. Price for the fitting service was a bit expensive. Not 5 stars because we had to wait 2 weeks for the carpet to be delivered and I had to chase this up. The carpet fitters were fantastic, speedy and friendly.
